PFT: Urlacher has to take pay cut to stay with Bears

Divisional Playoffs - New Orleans Saints v San Francisco 49ersGetty Images

Ted Ginn has done essentially nothing on offense for the 49ers, catching just two passes for one yard during the 2012 regular season. So it?s no surprise that when Ginn was asked today if he?d like to have more of an impact on offense, Ginn answered, ?Yeah, for sure.?

But Ginn says he?s not going to complain about his role on the offense (or lack thereof) because he understands that if the 49ers just want him to play as a punt and kickoff returner, that?s what he needs to do.

?Most of the time when you?re on championship teams, you have to sacrifice. Look at LeBron [James] and Dwyane Wade and [Chris] Bosh, they?re all number one picks,? Ginn said. ?But when they had to come together as a team, they had to give up something. You just have to give it up. I?m not saying you can?t do it anymore, but just not at that time. There might be somebody else that can do it better, or it?s the right time for them to do it. So, you just go out and control what you can control, and you play the game.?

Part of the reason that Ginn can appreciate the opportunity he has in San Francisco is that in his first career stop, in Miami, things didn?t go as planned. Ginn was the ninth overall pick of the 2007 NFL draft, but he never developed into the kind of receiver the Dolphins expected him to be. Ginn said he knows some people consider him a draft bust, but he can?t worry about that.

?I can?t help what was going on with my team at the time. I control what I control. My first year, I had eight quarterbacks,? Ginn said. ?If I?m a bust, I?m a good bust.?

Even if Ginn is never going to be a good enough wide receiver to justify being a Top 10 draft pick, a return touchdown on Sunday at the Superdome would go a long way toward erasing the perception that he?s a draft bust. After all, Desmond Howard was a Top 10 draft pick who never amounted to much as a wide receiver, but when people look back at his career, they don?t remember that. They remember him returning a kickoff for a touchdown at the Superdome and being named Super Bowl MVP.

Musical comedy "The Sapphires" sparkles at Aussie Oscars

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Home-grown romantic musical comedy "The Sapphires" shone at Australia's film industry awards on Wednesday, picking up best film and lead acting trophies for Deborah Mailman and "Bridesmaids" star Chris O'Dowd.

Awards host Russell Crowe, an Oscar winner for "Gladiator," led a star-studded evening whose theme was pride in Australia's outsized success on the international film stage.

"The Australian academy may be small but over the years we have won more than 60 BAFTAs and Oscars," said Crowe at the second annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts awards, affectionately known as the "Aussie Oscars."

Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman and Jeffrey Rush were all on hand for the event at Sydney's Star casino, leading guest presenter Jeremy Renner to joke: "You can't throw a bottle out the window in Hollywood without hitting an Australian."

The Sapphires, a possibility for next year's Oscars, tells the story of four women from a remote Aboriginal mission who are catapulted on to the world stage as Australia's answer to the Supremes when a kind-hearted manager, played by O'Dowd, hears their powerful voices and sends them to entertain troops in Vietnam.

"Films find their way because of a certain strength," Kidman told Reuters. "The Sapphires is such a unique story and it's great music and great talent."

Director Wayne Blair's debut film also won for direction, cinematography, editing, best production design, costume design and sound.

Best Young Actor went to Saskia Rosendahl for her role in the Australian-German film "Lore", about a teenage girl who leads her younger siblings across Germany at the end of World War Two. Rosendahl was just 17 when the film was made.

The awards weren't without controversy after the director of "Bait", the 3D shark-in-a-supermarket horror-comedy that was Australia's highest grossing film internationally last year, accused the academy of snubbing his movie.

While The Sapphires was Australia's top-grossing film domestically, with more than A$14 million ($14.63 million) in ticket sales, Bait snagged more than $41.8 million worldwide, more than half of that in China.

"It was never going to get best film or best director, but how can the cinematography, the visual effects, the editing, the sound design, the production design - we built a supermarket and put it underwater, for goodness' sake - be overlooked?" said Kimble Rendall to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Prior to last year, the awards were known as the Australian Film Industry (AFI) awards.

Randy Couture will coach on Bellator reality series

Randy Couture is a member of the UFC Hall of Fame. He fought in the Octagon 23 times, and held the heavyweight and light heavyweight UFC belts. But according to a report from Sports Illustrated, his next move will be with Bellator.

Couture has reportedly signed on to do multiple projects with Viacom, the media conglomerate that has a major stake in Bellator and owns Spike TV, Bellator's TV partner. Couture's first project will be to coach on an upcoming MMA reality TV series.

This won't be Couture's first time in that role. Along with Chuck Liddell, Couture was a coach on the first season of "The Ultimate Fighter." That show helped catapult the UFC to the level it is on today.

Bellator is smartly banking on Couture's popularity as a fighter and an actor to help grow their promotion.

Sony details VAIO T15, touchscreen T14 Ultrabooks on their way to Japan

Sony VAIO T15

Sony was mum on most of the details of the VAIO T15 and a touch-upgraded T14 when they appeared at CES. We won't have to wait until the spring launch in the US to know what some editions of the Ultrabook will carry, though. At least for Japan's February 9th release, the T15 won't be running any Haswell-based parts -- the top-spec system carries a 2GHz Core i7 from the current generation, a BDXL drive and a 1TB hybrid hard disk. The touch-ready T14 will be just as modest with a 1.8GHz Core i5, a DVD burner and up to 750GB of hybrid storage. We wouldn't be shocked to see performance boosts to either PC before they cross the Pacific, but we at least know what to expect as a baseline.

Quantum communication: Each photon counts

Monday, January 28, 2013

The detector combines near-unity detection efficiency with high timing resolution and has a very low error rate. The results have been published by Nature Communications(doi:10.1038/ncomms2307).

Ultrafast, efficient, and reliable single-photon detectors are among the most sought-after components in photonics and quantum communication, which have not yet reached maturity for practical application. Physicist Dr. Wolfram Pernice of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), in cooperation with colleagues at Yale University, Boston University, and Moscow State Pedagogical University, achieved the decisive breakthrough by integrating single-photon detectors with nanophotonic chips. The detector combines near-unity detection efficiency with high timing resolution and has a very low error rate. The results have been published by Nature Communications(doi:10.1038/ncomms2307).

Without reliable detection of single photons, it is impossible to make real use of the latest advances in optical data transmission or quantum computation; it is like having no analog-digital converter in a conventional computer to determine whether the applied voltage stands for 0 or 1. Although a number of different single-photon detector models have been developed over the past few years, thus far, none have provided satisfactory performance.

Several new ideas and advanced developments went into the prototype developed within the "Integrated Quantum Photonics" project at the DFG Center of Functional Nanostructures (CFN). The new single-photon detector, tested in the telecommunications wavelength range, achieves a previously unattained detection efficiency of 91%.

The detector was realized by fabricating superconducting nanowires directly on top of a nanophotonic waveguide. This geometry can be compared to a tube that conducts light, around which a wire in a superconducting state is wound and, as such, has no electric resistivity. The nanometer-sized wire made of niobium nitride absorbs photons that propagate along the waveguide. When a photon is absorbed, superconductivity is lost, which is detected as an electric signal. The longer the tube, the higher is the detection probability. The lengths involved are in the micrometer range.

A special feature of the detector is its direct installation on the chip, which allows for it to be replicated at random. The single-photon detectors built thus far were stand-alone units, which were connected to chips with optical fibers. Arrangements of that type suffer from photons being lost in the fiber connection or being absorbed in other ways. These loss channels do not exist in the detector that is now fully embedded in a silicon photonic circuit. In addition to high detection efficiency, this gives rise to a remarkably low dark count rate. Dark counts arise when a photon is detected erroneously: for instance, because of a spontaneous emission, an alpha particle, or a spurious field. The new design also provides ultrashort timing jitter of 18 picoseconds, which is 18 times 10-12 seconds. The novel solution also makes it possible to integrate several hundreds of these detectors on a single chip. This is a basic precondition for future use in optical quantum computers.

The detector demonstrated in this study was designed to work at wavelengths in the Telekom bandwidth. The same detector architecture can also be used for wavelengths in the range of visible light. This would allow the principle to be employed in analyses of all structures that emit little light, i.e., photons, such as single molecules or bacteria.

Blood pressure, cholesterol most important indicators of heart disease risk in diabetics

Jan. 28, 2013 ? For people with diabetes, meeting the recommended guidelines for blood pressure and cholesterol is even more important than meeting the guidelines for blood-sugar control in reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke, according to a new Kaiser Permanente study published January 28 in the Journal of General Internal Medicine.

The study included more than 26,000 patients with diabetes. Patients who met guidelines for all three risk factors and those who met the blood pressure and cholesterol guidelines were least likely to be hospitalized for a heart attack or stroke. Those who met none of the guidelines and those who met only the blood-sugar guidelines were most likely to be hospitalized for a heart attack or stroke.

"People with diabetes are often focused on controlling their blood sugar, but our study found that controlling blood pressure and cholesterol is even more important in preventing heart disease," said Greg Nichols, PhD, lead author of the study and senior investigator with the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research. "This doesn't mean that people with diabetes should ignore their blood-sugar levels. They should still get regular A1C tests to measure and control their blood glucose, but it's also important to pay attention to other factors that increase the risk for cardiovascular disease."

Adults with diabetes are two to four times more likely than people without diabetes to have cardiovascular disease, and most people with diabetes will die from a heart attack or stroke, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. There is abundant evidence that controlling the ABCs -- A1C (an average measure of blood sugar), blood pressure and cholesterol -- can reduce the risk, but until now it has been unclear which of these factors is most important.

The American Diabetes Association recommends that patients with diabetes maintain a target blood pressure reading of less than 130/80 mm Hg, an LDL cholesterol level of less than 100 mg/dl, and an A1C blood glucose level of less than 7 percent.

For this study, researchers examined the medical records of 26,636 adult patients from the Kaiser Permanente diabetes registry in Oregon and Washington starting in 2002 and following the patients through 2010, or until they died, left the health plan, or were hospitalized for a cardiovascular event such as a heart attack. Patients who were included had to have measurements of blood pressure, cholesterol and A1C no more than six months apart, and researchers used the mean of those measurements, if they were taken, several times throughout the study period.

Most previous studies have examined one or two of these risk factors, but not all three at the same time. This is the first time researchers have published results of a study examining the risk factors simultaneously, and reported the individual contribution of each factor on diabetes-related heart disease.

About 13 percent of patients in the study met targets for all three risk factors. Their rate of hospitalization for heart attack and stroke was about 2.5 times lower than the patients who met none of the targets. Patients were followed for an average of six years, and during that time 7 percent of the patients were hospitalized for a cardiovascular event.

For the last few years, Kaiser Permanente has encouraged diabetes patients who are at least 55 years old to participate in an aggressive initiative to prevent heart attacks and strokes. The ALL initiative is a therapeutic program that includes the use of aspirin, lisinopril and a lipid-lowering medication. The initiative, which also now includes the use of a beta blocker, is also actively promoted and shared with other health systems outside Kaiser Permanente.

This study marks the latest effort by Kaiser Permanente to better understand the impacts of diabetes. Last year, a Kaiser Permanente study published in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine found that when patients with diabetes experience interruptions in health insurance coverage, they are less likely to receive the screening tests and vaccines they need to protect their health. The study found this was true even when patients received free or reduced-cost medical care at federally funded safety-net clinics.

Authors of the paper include Gregory A. Nichols, PhD, Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research, Portland, Ore., and Sandra Joshua-Gotlib, MSPH and Shreekant Parasuraman, PhD, from AstraZeneca LP, Wilmington, Del. Funding for the study was provided by Astra Zeneca LP and Bristol-Myers Squibb, which make diabetes medications. The lead author has no affiliation with the companies and retained control of the data, analyses and manuscript.

CLEMSON, S.C. A federal agency has turned to Clemson University's South Carolina Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit to collect data that will help it assess the environmental impact of oil and natural gas operations on the marine and coastal environments of the northern Gulf of Mexico's outer continental shelf.

The South Carolina Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit will fill data holes on the migratory habits, demographics and reproductive success of eastern brown pelicans. The data will serve as a snapshot that will help the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) understand the impact of human activities, such as oil and natural gas operations, and help identify possible mitigation protocols.

The four-year study, which will commence in the spring, is a collaboration between the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Clemson University and the states of Texas, Louisiana and Florida. The research is supported by a $1.2 million grant from BOEM and USGS.

"This research will be paramount in understanding the migration and success of eastern brown pelican colonies in relation to each other in the northern Gulf of Mexico," said Patrick Jodice, leader of the South Carolina Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit and professor in Clemson's School of Agricultural, Forest and Environmental Sciences. "The data we collect will allow the BOEM to more fully assess the potential impact of oil and gas development in the Northern Gulf."

The research will cover an area extending from the Gulf Coast of Texas along the Louisiana Coast to the northwestern Gulf Coast of Florida.

Researchers will use satellite and GPS transmitters to gather data on the dispersal, seasonal and annual movements, season home range and site fidelity of adult brown pelicans among nesting colonies in the northern Gulf of Mexico. Data on body condition and health will be assessed through physical examinations and avian blood-chemistry profiles. Researchers will attempt to identify what portion of brown pelican contaminant loads are derived from particular prey sources and foraging areas by performing analyses of predator and prey tissue samples at colony sites.

This research will build upon previous efforts by Jodice to study the ecology of brown pelicans in South Carolina and in the Gulf of Mexico in response to the Deepwater Horizon incident.

While the eastern brown pelican is not listed on the Endangered Species Act or the Migratory Bird Treaty act, it is considered a "Species of Conservation Concern" by all coastal states along the Gulf of Mexico except Alabama.

Obama lauds Clinton as she prepares to leave

WASHINGTON (AP) ? President Barack Obama lauded Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton as one of his closest advisers and said their shared vision for America's role in the world persuaded his one-time rival ? and potential successor ? to be his top diplomat while he dealt with the shattered economy at home.

During a joint interview that aired Sunday, Obama and Clinton chuckled as they described their partnership and stoked speculation that Obama may prefer Clinton to succeed him in the White House after the 2016 elections. Clinton is leaving Obama's Cabinet soon, and speculation about the former first lady and senator has only grown more intense after a heated appearance last week on Capitol Hill.

Both Obama and Clinton batted away questions about future campaigns, but the joint interview ? the president's first with anyone other than first lady Michelle Obama ? was only likely to increase the fascination with Clinton's future.

"The president and I care deeply about what's going to happen for our country in the future," Clinton said. "And I don't think, you know, either he or I can make predictions about what's going to happen tomorrow or the next year."

Obama, who suggested the joint interview as Clinton prepared her exit from the State Department, lavished praise on his rival for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination. He called her a friend and an extraordinary talent, and praised "her discipline, her stamina, her thoughtfulness, her ability to project."

It teetered on an endorsement of a 2016 presidential bid that is still an open question. Clinton advisers say she has not made a decision about a run, while Democratic officials suggest Clinton would be an early favorite if she decided to mount another campaign.

Obama and Clinton laughed when asked about the political future.

"You guys in the press are incorrigible," Obama said when pressed on another Clinton presidency. "I was literally inaugurated four days ago. And you're talking about elections four years from now."

The possibility of a presidential campaign for Vice President Joe Biden did not come up during the interview, taped Friday at the White House.

Obama described why he insisted Clinton become his secretary of state.

"She also was already a world figure," Obama said. "To have somebody who could serve as that effective ambassador in her own right without having to earn her stripes, so to speak, on the international stage, I thought, would be hugely important."

It was a job she initially refused. But Obama kept pushing, Clinton said.

"The one thing he did mention was he basically said: 'You know, we've got this major economic crisis that may push us into a depression. I'm not going to be able to do a lot to satisfy the built-up expectations for our role around the world. So you're going to have to get out there and, you know, really represent us while I deal with, you know, the economic catastrophe I inherited."

It's a job she embraced during the last four years. She arrived on the job with a global brand she quickly lent to promoting U.S. interests. In return, the public rewarded her with high approval ratings that could come in handy if she runs in 2016.

But her tenure has had its blemishes. For example, the United States did not directly intervene in the civil war in Syria, where the United Nations says more than 60,000 people have been killed and more than 2 million people have been internally displaced since the start of the conflict in March 2011.

"There are transitions and transformations taking place all around the world. We are not going to be able to control every aspect of every transition and transformation," Obama said, saying his jobs are to protect the United States and engage where the U.S. can make a difference.

In a separate interview with The New Republic, also released Sunday, Obama said, "As I wrestle with those decisions, I am more mindful probably than most of not only our incredible strengths and capabilities, but also our limitations."

On "60 Minutes," he praised Clinton's State Department for helping him sort out what the United States can ? and cannot ? accomplish.

"It has been a great collaboration over the last four years. I'm going to miss her. Wish she was sticking around. But she has logged in so many miles, I can't begrudge her wanting to take it easy for a little bit," Obama said.

It's something of a turnaround from 2007 and 2008, as the two raced through Iowa and New Hampshire and onward. In increasingly bracing language, the two excoriated the other. At one point, a visibly angry Clinton seethed, "Shame on you, Barack Obama."

Obama now jokes about the rivalry.

"Made for tough debates, by the way, because we could never figure out what we were different on," the president said.

Both acknowledged disagreements continue but said they had common goals.

"Are there going to be differences? Yeah. Deep differences? Of course," Clinton said. "You had a lot of strong-willed, -minded people. But the president deserves our best judgment, our advice and then he deserves us to stand with him and to execute."

Researchers break million-core supercomputer barrier

Jan. 28, 2013 ? Stanford Engineering's Center for Turbulence Research (CTR) has set a new record in computational science by successfully using a supercomputer with more than one million computing cores to solve a complex fluid dynamics problem -- the prediction of noise generated by a supersonic jet engine.

Joseph Nichols, a research associate in the center, worked on the newly installed Sequoia IBM Bluegene/Q system at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories (LLNL) funded by the Advanced Simulation and Computing (ASC) Program of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Sequoia once topped list of the world's most powerful supercomputers, boasting 1,572,864 compute cores (processors) and 1.6 petabytes of memory connected by a high-speed five-dimensional torus interconnect.

Because of Sequoia's impressive numbers of cores, Nichols was able to show for the first time that million-core fluid dynamics simulations are possible -- and also to contribute to research aimed at designing quieter aircraft engines.

The physics of noise

The exhausts of high-performance aircraft at takeoff and landing are among the most powerful human-made sources of noise. For ground crews, even for those wearing the most advanced hearing protection available, this creates an acoustically hazardous environment. To the communities surrounding airports, such noise is a major annoyance and a drag on property values.

Understandably, engineers are keen to design new and better aircraft engines that are quieter than their predecessors. New nozzle shapes, for instance, can reduce jet noise at its source, resulting in quieter aircraft.

Predictive simulations -- advanced computer models -- aid in such designs. These complex simulations allow scientists to peer inside and measure processes occurring within the harsh exhaust environment that is otherwise inaccessible to experimental equipment. The data gleaned from these simulations are driving computation-based scientific discovery as researchers uncover the physics of noise.

More cores, more challenges

"Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, like the one Nichols solved, are incredibly complex. Only recently, with the advent of massive supercomputers boasting hundreds of thousands of computing cores, have engineers been able to model jet engines and the noise they produce with accuracy and speed," said Parviz Moin, the Franklin M. and Caroline P. Johnson Professor in the School of Engineering and Director of CTR.

CFD simulations test all aspects of a supercomputer. The waves propagating throughout the simulation require a carefully orchestrated balance between computation, memory and communication. Supercomputers like Sequoia divvy up the complex math into smaller parts so they can be computed simultaneously. The more cores you have, the faster and more complex the calculations can be.

And yet, despite the additional computing horsepower, the difficulty of the calculations only becomes more challenging with more cores. At the one-million-core level, previously innocuous parts of the computer code can suddenly become bottlenecks.

Ironing out the wrinkles

Over the past few weeks, Stanford researchers and LLNL computing staff have been working closely to iron out these last few wrinkles. This week, they were glued to their terminals during the first "full-system scaling" to see whether initial runs would achieve stable run-time performance. They watched eagerly as the first CFD simulation passed through initialization then thrilled as the code performance continued to scale up to and beyond the all-important one-million-core threshold, and as the time-to-solution declined dramatically.

"These runs represent at least an order-of-magnitude increase in computational power over the largest simulations performed at the Center for Turbulence Research previously," said Nichols "The implications for predictive science are mind-boggling."

A homecoming

The current simulations were a homecoming of sorts for Nichols. He was inspired to pursue a career in supercomputing as a high-school student when he attended a two-week summer program at Lawrence Livermore computing facility in 1994 sponsored by the Department of Energy. Back then he worked on the Cray Y-MP, one of the fastest supercomputers of its time.

"Sequoia is approximately 10 million times more powerful than that machine," Nichols noted.

The Stanford ties go deeper still. The computer code used in this study is named CharLES and was developed by former Stanford senior research associate, Frank Ham. This code utilizes unstructured meshes to simulate turbulent flow in the presence of complicated geometry.

In addition to jet noise simulations, Stanford researchers in the Predictive Science Academic Alliance Program (PSAAP), sponsored by the Department of Energy, are using the CharLES code to investigate advanced-concept scramjet propulsion systems used in hypersonic flight (with video) -- flight at many times the speed of sound -- and to simulate the turbulent flow over an entire airplane wing.

SKAI Real Estate shakes up UAE's brokerage industry with ...

Part of SKAI Holdings, a Dubai-based family-owned real estate investment firm led by Dubai real estate veteran Kabir Mulchandani, SKAI Real Estate aims to lead by example in the crowded UAE brokerage segment.

The company brings customer-centric changes to the market, reflecting global sector standards and best practice with an industry-shaping five-point agenda that the company believes can help the UAE property sector restore its credibility.

Announcing the launch of SKAI Real Estate's operations in the UAE, Kabir Mulchandani, CEO of SKAI Holding, said, "We are keen to be the change that property customers in the UAE and the wider region want to see. The real estate sector in Dubai is clearly now well into recovery. To help secure that recovery, and spur further sector growth, we have committed to a clear charter that is not only in the best interests of our customers and investors, but also in the best interests of the Dubai economy as a whole. It is our aim to help increase transparency, restore industry credibility and champion the sterling work being done by RERA in regulating our industry."

In addition to the promise of lowest commission rates being charged in the market, capped at 1.99%, and only ever representing one party in any sale, SKAI Real Estate will implement three more practices in its operations from day one. These are: not charging any hidden commissions or 'top-ups'; respecting customer privacy by not sharing their databases with third parties; and, being a partner from the start of a transaction to its completion, not leaving customers mid-stream.

Mulchandani added, "Despite the changes and regulation that RERA has introduced, there remain many unethical practices in our industry that need to be stamped out. These include the widespread practice of top-ups that can be described as unethical. The concept of conflict of interest too has been largely ignored by the industry as agents represent both parties to the deal. In a clear violation of customer service practices of any industry, agents often leave the customer once the deal is signed, forcing them into the arms of another agent to complete paperwork and handover. At SKAI, we are committed to ensuring that our success changes an industry that needs to regain public and investor trust and to do this it needs to make fundamental changes in its practices. We are here to put the real back into real estate."

A property brokerage firm headquartered in Downtown Dubai, SKAI Real Estate offers customers the option to buy, sell, rent or invest in property at any location in the UAE and at various price points. It works towards being a long-term trusted partner for property investors and offers real estate related investment advice.

Its strengths include a deep understanding of the UAE property sector and complete transparency in operations. Its property management skills and transactional services come with the highest standards of client care, transparency and a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of the industry.

I'm curious as to how many males find that they prefer being the submissive one in sexual relations.

And to the women, how do you generally feel about sexually submissive partners as opposed to dominant partners?

Curious, as I enjoy being dominated.? :badslave:

As long as she is screaming or loudly moaning I'm happy.

Just depends on the girl and my mood at the time - sexual aggression isn't always so calculated.

Hmm... neat feedback. Maybe it's just my insecurity.

This girl I'm seeing also prefers being submissive. So there is an awkward period during foreplay which it seems that one of us is waiting to dominate the other.

Fuck it, I'll dominate.

There is no reason to rush foreplay or sex. Dominate her, let her dominate you, switch around.
Use some fuckin' team work on that domination.

i've found that when the chemistry is right, switching comes really easy for a lot of people. but i say that as someone who enjoys playing both roles. one of my best fairly recent sexual arrangements was with someone who was a total sub. we were so great together that she discovered that she loved to top me, to the point of that's what we did most of the time. it was super hot. too bad she was emotionally unstable. i really would've loved to have kept her around for something real. /sigh

With a girl I want to dominate and her to be submissive. With a guy I want to be dominated and to be submissive.

I lost my virginity to a very aggressive girl, so I guess I've kinda been chasing that high.

My fiancee likes me to be borderline violent with her, and I enjoy it too, but it's a new thing for me. I'm not used to being so rough.

It really just depends, though, I am not sure which one I like more. They're very unique acts. I've been forced to lick my ex GF's boots (nude) while she verbally humiliated me and hit me, and it was amazing.

Then when I have sex with my fiancee she wants me to put one hand on her throat and hold her arms above her head.

I will admit while most girls prefer something much more vanilla, most of them want a dominant man. That means that it's most convenient if you enjoy both, but I totally get you on being submissive. Even my super sub fiancee, I'll throw her on top of me and kinda force her to take the lead sometimes. It's difficult to find a girl that wants to take control like that.
